You've seen where I live
across from the school,
you used to drive me home sometimes.
Not far from you,
you just pass a few
main roads, the pond, the library and
the fire station.
And you've got a car, I know,
and I've told you when I'm home.
One day you, unexpectedly,
at my door in the afternoon
and then the sky starts dripping candle wax
while a boat surfaces on the road.
