168

It starts out we’re in your car
on the road with the eyeglass store
talking about what’s on the radio
and I can make you laugh

We’re walking on the beach
And I don’t remember parking
The wind’s in my hair and so is your hand
We’re standing sitting our shoulders touch I’m facing you

We’re in a rowboat in the ocean
And there isn’t any land but the sky is closer than we’ve ever seen
Your voice is mine and it says
That I’m the only face you know

We’re in the dark
and my footsteps don’t make any sound
and I can’t move my mouth
I feel around I don’t feel anything
