A new layer of earth formed by rubble
Children climb through it like deep snow
Life their knees to heir chests
Look down intently for already made holes for their feet
Every building looks the same
Underneath their feet
The sun doesn't understand
The breeze is just enough to catch the dust
From the floors and walls that were crushed
It swims around the faces
The pieced that won't be found
